MARK RETURNS TO PLAY LIZOTTE’S NEWCASTLE AFTER
WOWING ON AIR AND CMC SNOWYS FESTIVAL!!
After wowing fans and industry insiders
at the CMC Rocks the Snowys Festival in Thredbo, and
with his debut single on high rotation on CMC, award
winning Newcastle bred singer-songwriter, Mark Wells,
will return for a headline show at Lizotte’s Newcastle
on Friday 7th May.
At the CMC festival in Thredbo,
Wells played alongside the likes of Kasey Chambers,
Lee Kernaghan and Guy Sebastian and has since been asked
to play a number of high profile music festivals after
his energetic performances.
"It was a very exciting little
trip,” said Wells. “It was so great to see
so many new people singing along to my songs, and by
the time we left there was a real buzz about our band.”
Wells’ single “You’re
Still on My Mind” has been charting as high as
#15 on the CMC Top 30 Chart, which also features artists
like Keith Urban and Brad Paisley.
The Lizotte’s Newcastle performance
will feature a few special guests, including Newcastle’s
own multiple ABC Music Award winner, Marissa Saroca.
Wells’ band includes ABC Newcastle
Music Awards Winners Ngariki, Bob Corbett and Jason
Bone, as well as local legends Dave Carter, Matt Gaudry,
and Brian Daly.
